I study how construction workers move, act, and tire on site, and how that data can be read well enough to support safer construction systems. The work draws on real project sites, wearable sensors, and video.
One thread reaches EC3 2026 in Corfu, where I present a method for turning daily progress reports into schedule updates. It points at a wider interest: keeping a project's digital twin a place where people, firms, software, and machines coordinate, while it stays clear who decided what and on what record.

My thesis reads construction worker activity and fatigue from wearable and video data taken on real sites. It builds the evidence base for safer construction systems, and gives me footing with human state, sensing, and uncertainty.
A method that turns free-text daily progress reports into schedule updates, then checks them against the plan's own constraints. Tested on a real project with 173 reports and 1000 validation activities.
Oral talk at EC3 2026, Corfu, 13 to 15 July 2026. In the conference proceedings.
As a teaching assistant I run part of the BIM lab, across theory, hands-on sessions, and evaluations. It covers nD BIM, common data environments, IFC, and openBIM. I also build small openBIM tools for class.
The direction I want to grow into. A shared coordination layer around the project's digital twin, where people, firms, AI agents, and robots work together while decisions stay authorised, recorded, and answerable.

A neuro-symbolic system that enriches project schedules from DPR files using large language models and knowledge graphs, learning construction terminology automatically and validating outputs against project constraints. Tested on a real project (173 DPRs, 1000 validation activities): median confidence 0.825 with zero constraint violations.

A review-based taxonomy that gives computer-vision systems a shared vocabulary for the actions construction workers perform on site. It seeds the action ontology used in later human factors and automation work.
